solar panels

Wow, where did January go?

Doug and Jim have been working on installing the solar system.  Some problems have come up; mostly because of a lack of communication.  The inverter that was sent was for 120V while in Peru it is 220V.  When Doug was in the states, he brought back a converter…but this has been less than ideal.  I don’t know what the solution will be, but I’m sure it will be worked out over time.  A famous saying here is, Poco a poco; meaning little by little.  How true!  Little by little we are making progress toward getting the solar system up and running!

  1. So glad to hear from you again. I’m kind of like your sisters – if we don’t hear, we worry. Besides, we live vicariously through you! Sorry to hear the solar panels are being a pain, but it certainly keeps Doug entertained – as long as he doesn’t get too wound up over it! It will be nice when you get them installed.

What projects are you working on currently? Yuck on the snake! Are there many in that area? I thought they lived in humid, swampy areas – guess I’ve learned something new – again! Glad you got him with the camera and he didn’t get you at all! Take care.
